Representation

The job description of a member of the US House of Representatives is a simple one: Represent the people of the district that elected you. All too often though, we see politicians instead representing the organizations or corporations that fund their campaigns. Tom Emmer is the perfect example of this, his top donors are corporations, banks, and crypto currency groups, and is shows; he spends an inordinate amount of his time in Congress working on deregulation for banks and crypto currency. In Congress, I would always represent the people of the district, not special interests. I will listen to your concerns, your ideas, and your priorities, and cast my votes according to what’s best for the people of CD6.
